Precision shafts as commercial lengths ex works

Please note: Purchases are only possible in 6 m lengths. With commercial lengths, there is a short section at each end of the bar where the precision shaft may not be dimensionally accurate. This end is cut off for fixed lengths, but not for our commercial lengths. This results in a more favorable price per meter instead of the unit price for fixed lengths.  

Commercial lengths from Smalltec are usually based on surface-hardened and precision-ground steel shafts in quality tolerance h6, with hard chrome-plated material in tolerance h7. You can choose between grades Cf53 (1.1213 = not corrosion-resistant, but high hardness min. 59 HRC), Cf53 hard chrome-plated, with an additional chrome layer on the outer surface, stainless steel X46Cr13 (1.4034) and the high-alloy X90CrMoV18 (1.4112), which is also preferred in the food industry and medical technology. Smalltec also supplies Ø 2 to Ø 5 mm non-hardened stainless steels as fixed lengths in grade 1.4305 and in h6 quality.
