Corrosion resistant rail SMA and SMB
Here you will find the series Corrosion resistant profile rail systems, length one-piece up to max 4m in lightweight construction by aluminum / steel construction.
Our aluminum rail guideway with ball carriage was developed as a supplement to the well-known high-performance profile rail guideways in order to meet the needs of handling and positioning movements as well as light machine construction at low cost. Their low weight and good corrosion protection are advantageous in this respect. Corrosion-resistant steel profiles (Niro) are pressed into the aluminum rails and into the aluminum carriages using a patented process.
Product range:
▪ The rails are always manufactured in the highest accuracy class (formerly class N).
▪ Carriages are manufactured in 2 classes, standard and precision.
▪ The standard carriages are manufactured with and without preload.
▪ The precision carriages are manufactured with preload only.
▪ The load ratings are based on a running performance of 100`000 m.
Advantages of the ALU rail guide:
▪ Compact lightweight design with over 60% weight saving compared to steel design.
▪ Same connecting dimensions as steel ball rail systems, as also in accordance with DIN 645 Part 1.
▪ Significantly greater deviations in parallelism and height permissible; can be mounted in part on unmachined mounting surfaces.
Insensitivity to dirt and high moment load due to two rows of balls with large balls.
Higher corrosion resistance than steel version.
Long-term lubrication due to initial greasing during production.
▪ The integrated ball retaining wire allows the carriages to be easily removed from the rails.
▪ Regardless of the accuracy class and preload, carriages and rails can always be replaced anywhere.
▪ The guideways have mounting stop edges on both sides, the carriages likewise by reversal.
