Miniature guideways rail standard with

Miniature guideways are used wherever ball-bearing linear guideways with extremely small size and high load capacity are required.
Smalltec supplies the sizes 3, 5, 7, 9, 12, 15 mm in standard width (-M), additionally also as wide version (-W). The maximum one-piece length is 1000mm, for sizes 3 and 5mm only 300mm.
Sizes 3 and 5 mm are also generally paired to order (rail and carriage) and have a correspondingly longer delivery time.
Seals:
SS series - with face seal The standard seal effectively protects the carriage from outside dirt, ensuring long product life. At the same time, the seal acts inwards and prevents grease from escaping. The special design of the seal has a negligible effect on frictional resistance.
The MR miniature linear guides have three preload classes: V0, VS and V1. The preload improves stiffness, precision and torsional rigidity.
Operating temperatures: MR miniature linear guides operate in a temperature range of -40 º C ~ + 80 º C. Short-term temperatures up to + 100 º C are possible.
High load capacity and load carrying capacity:
MR miniature linear guides are designed with two rows of recirculating balls. The design uses a gothic profile with a 45 º contact angle to achieve the same load capacity on all directions Within the available space. Since larger stainless steel balls are used, load capacity and torsional resistance are increased
MR Preload classes from stock Smalltec: Preload VS = transition range (< 0.01 C) for applications that need to operate smoothly and with positional accuracy

Linear systems with hardened miniature guide rails made of stainless steel enable precise and resilient linear movement in a small space. They consist of a rail with V-shaped raceways hardened by an induction process and one or more carriages with balls. The rail and carriage are made of stainless steel, which guarantees high corrosion resistance and durability.
Linear systems with hardened miniature guide rails made of stainless steel are used in various areas of linear technology, for example for:
Testing and measuring equipment and precision machines
Laboratory technology and medical equipment
Pharmaceutical and food industry
Optical equipment and clean room technology
The advantages of linear systems with hardened miniature guide rails made of stainless steel include:
High load capacity and rigidity with low weight
Low noise and friction at high speeds
Easy adjustment and assembly due to self-alignment
Lubrication-free operation due to special coatings or seals
