Shafts and axles in general mechanical engineering. Low-corrosion steels Precision shafts made of X46 or X90 are offered especially for use in medical technology, the food industry and productronics.
Hard chrome plating:
If high wear resistance and increased corrosion resistance compared to quenched and tempered steel are required, hard chrome-plated precision shafts are ideally suited for this purpose.
