Track Roller Guidance Systems

Track Roller Guidance Systems

The SMLFS support rails are of composite construction. A high-precision aluminium base body accommodates hardened and ground precision steel shafts that serve as raceways for track rollers.  The special rolling-in process ensures an extremely stable bond of the steel shafts in the aluminium base body. Due to its lightweight construction, the system is very well suited for use in handling systems.

You can obtain the roller rails from us in the following variants:

-drilled
-undrilled
-flat design, drilled
-flat design, undrilled

Characteristic for track roller guides is
quiet running
smooth running
high travel speeds
Long displacement paths

Roller bearings are a type of linear technology that allows for linear or curved movement along a rail. They consist of a rail and one or more carriage(s) equipped with rollers or balls that roll along the rail.

Roller bearings are used in various industries to enable precise and smooth movement of machine components and instruments. A typical application of roller bearings is in the machine tool industry where they are used to move workpieces and tools. They are also used in the automotive industry to control components in vehicle assembly.

In heavy industry, roller bearings are used to control the movement of heavy machinery and equipment. They are also used in agriculture, for example, to control agricultural machinery.

Roller bearings are used in the packaging industry to control packaging machines. They are also used in the food industry, for example, to control food processing machines or for dosing food.

Roller bearings can also be used in the aerospace industry to control the movement of flaps, doors, and other aircraft components.

In the electrical engineering industry, roller bearings are used in the production of motors and generators to enable precise movement of the components.

In the medical technology industry, roller bearings are used to control the movement of instruments in surgical applications.

In the measurement and control technology industry, roller bearings are used to enable precise movement of sensors and precision measuring devices.

In summary, the application of roller bearings is very diverse and covers many different industries. Their precise guidance enables accurate movement of machine components and instruments, resulting in increased efficiency, productivity, and quality in manufacturing.
