Trapezoidal Thread Spindles

Material
For the production of this spindle we use
C15E - 1.1141 EN 10084
This material offers a very good compromise between quality and price.

Dimensional accuracy
This spindle is manufactured in precision class 200. This means that a tolerance of ± 0.2 mm is guaranteed for each 300 mm of thread length.

Lengths provided (mm)
This spindle type is produced in lengths from min. 200 mm to max. 6000 mm, depending on the pitch.

Basic information on Trapezoidal Thread Spindles:

Trapezoidal lead screws are a type of threaded rod used to convert a rotating motion into a linear motion. They consist of a lead screw and a nut with a matching thread that slides along the screw. The threads are trapezoidal in shape, hence the name.

Trapezoidal lead screws are used in many different applications, especially in automation and manufacturing technology. They are used for the precise positioning of workpieces and tools, moving materials, and transporting products.

In the machine tool industry, trapezoidal lead screws are used to control the movement of workpieces and tools. In combination with linear ball bearings or profile rail guides, they enable precise movement and positioning.

In medical technology, trapezoidal lead screws are used to move medical instruments during surgical procedures, ensuring precise and safe movement.

Trapezoidal lead screws are also used in the automotive industry to control the movement of components in vehicle assembly. They are also used in the aerospace industry, for example, to control flaps and other aircraft components.

In the packaging industry, trapezoidal lead screws are used to control packaging machines and move products.

Trapezoidal lead screws are also used in measurement technology to control the movement of precision measuring instruments and ensure accurate measurements.

In electrical engineering, trapezoidal lead screws are used in the production of motors and generators to enable precise movement of components.

In summary, the application of trapezoidal lead screws is very broad and covers many different industries. By converting rotary motion into linear motion, they enable accurate movement of machine components and instruments, resulting in increased efficiency, productivity, and quality in manufacturing.
