Precision Shafts in Producer Length
Precision shafts producer length
In this category you will find precision shafts in full, half or thirds producer lengths at a favourable price per metre . Please note that purchase is only possible as a complete producer length, usually approx. 6 - 6.1m. With producer lengths there is a short area at each end of the rod where the precision shaft cannot be true to size. This end is usually cut away, but not in this case.
Smalltec producer lengths are usually based on edge hardened and precision ground steel shafts in quality in tolerance h6, the hard chrome plated material has tolerance h7. You have the choice between the qualities Cf53 (1.1213 = not corrosion resistant, but high hardness min 59 HRC), Cf53 with additional chrome layer on the surface, stainless steel X46Cr13 (1.4034) and the high alloyed X90CrMoV18 (1.4112) which is also preferred in the food industry and medical technology. Smalltec also supplies Ø 2 to Ø 5mm non-hardened stainless steels as fixed lengths in grade 1.4305 and in h6 quality.
