Linear housings from Smalltec are available without linear ball bearings in closed, slotted or open design. With regard to the load to be supported, the load rating of the linear bearing to be installed must always be taken into account, and this from any direction (see data sheets in the linear bearing category). The installation of the housings is possible upright, suspended and also sideways.
The housing material consists of die-cast aluminum and is available in many different designs.

In general, all open types can be used in conjunction with rail units - these each have an "O" in the name, e.g.: SMGO , SMGOE, SMTGO etc.

All linear housing units can be equipped with different linear bearing types, depending on the application.
