General information about surface hardened precision shafts in Cf53 hard chrome plated:

In addition to their mechanical properties, surface hardened precision shafts in Cf53 hard chrome plated also offer high chemical resistance to a wide range of chemicals and corrosives. This makes them ideal for applications in humid or aggressive environments. However, this only applies to the lateral surface; the end surfaces are no longer chrome-plated due to the cutting process.
