General information on miniature guide carriages:
Miniature guide carriages are small and compact linear systems that allow precise and low-friction movement in a straight direction. They consist of a carriage that slides or rolls on a rail. The rail can be made of different materials such as aluminium, steel or plastic. In the case of Smalltec, this is exclusively made of corrosion-resistant steel. The sliding or rolling elements of the carriage can be made of metal or/and plastic and are often lubrication and maintenance free.
Miniature guide carriages are used in various areas of linear technology, for example for:
